The Belgian Shepherd is a type of medium-sized grouping canine from Belgium. While prevalently viewed as a solitary variety, it is reproduced in four unmistakable assortments dependent on coat type and shading; the long-haired dark Groenendael, the harsh haired grovel Laekenois.

Temperament:  The Belgian sheepdog is smart and obedient. He has strong protective and territorial instincts. He needs extensive socialization from an early age and firm but not harsh training.
