The Bloodhound is a huge aroma dog, initially reared for chasing deer, wild pig and, since the Middle Ages, for following individuals. Accepted to be plummeted from dogs once kept at the Abbey of Saint-Hubert, Belgium, it is referred to French speakers as le chien de Saint-Hubert.

Colors: Liver & Tan, Black & Tan, Red

Lifespan: 10 – 12  years

Size: Female: 58–64 cm, Male: 64–69 cm
